In reading Seneca and Epictetus I was made aware of a gap in our education at the high school level that ought to be filled with a better introduction to history, ancient history, the the writings that occurred in the various periods and man's intellectual and cultural development. And my introduction was through Kindle versions, an inexpensive way of broadening ones horizons and knowledge generally.

I'll look for another edition. I had already read The Enchiridion and found it enjoyable, so I know what Epictetus can offer. He deserves better.
It definitely was nice to have a book that I didn't have to search for the chapters and works by guessing went straight to each beginning ...like some book like the complete works of Aristotle that one is horrible! I had to dig for every title and bookmark them myself...surprised it would even let considering how horrible that one was...
